Overview
This Shipping Policy applies to physical goods shipped in connection with Zendip LLC services, including (without limitation) garments shipped under Zendip LLC's garments division, and goods coordinated under our Export Import services. It does not apply to digital services, which are governed by our Service Delivery Policy.
Shipping Methods
Goods are shipped via internationally recognized freight carriers (sea, air, or land freight) and courier services (DHL, FedEx, UPS, and others) depending on the size, urgency, and destination of the shipment. The specific shipping method is agreed in writing in the relevant Scope of Work or commercial contract.
Incoterms
All international shipments are governed by Incoterms (the international commercial terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce). The applicable Incoterm (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, etc.) is specified in the Scope of Work or purchase order, and determines the responsibilities of buyer and seller for shipping cost, insurance, customs clearance, and risk transfer.
Estimated Delivery Times
Indicative shipping timelines (from dispatch):
- Express courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS): three to seven business days internationally.
- Air freight: seven to fourteen business days door-to-door.
- Sea freight: twenty-five to forty-five days port-to-port (Bangladesh to Europe/USA), plus inland transit.
- Land freight (within South Asia): three to ten business days.
Actual delivery times depend on carrier, route, customs clearance, weather, and force majeure factors.
Customs & Duties
For international shipments, the buyer is typically responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees, unless otherwise agreed under DDP or similar Incoterm. Zendip LLC provides documentation support but is not a licensed customs broker. We coordinate with licensed customs brokers and freight forwarders as required.
Documentation
For each shipment, the standard documentation pack includes: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of origin (where required), inspection certificate (where required), and any specific export-import documentation required by the destination country.
Risk & Insurance
Risk of loss or damage transfers per the agreed Incoterm. Insurance is arranged where specified in the Scope of Work and is strongly recommended for all international freight. Uninsured shipments travel at the buyer's risk for the portion of transit where buyer bears risk under the Incoterm.
Inspection on Receipt
Buyers are required to inspect shipments on receipt and report any visible damage, shortages, or non-conformity to Zendip LLC and the carrier in writing within seven calendar days of delivery. Claims raised after this period are subject to carrier and supplier policies and may not be recoverable.
Restricted & Prohibited Goods
Zendip LLC does not handle, ship, or coordinate the shipment of goods that are illegal under the laws of the country of origin, transit, or destination, or that are prohibited under our Compliance Policy. Restricted goods (such as those requiring special licensing) are handled only with the relevant licenses in place.
Delays
Where delays occur outside our control, we keep the buyer informed and coordinate remediation with the carrier. We do not accept liability for consequential losses arising from carrier or customs delays beyond what is recoverable from the carrier under the bill of lading or airway bill.
Returns
For physical goods, returns and replacements are governed by the specific commercial contract for that shipment. Garments and bulk shipments are typically non-returnable once accepted at port, except in cases of demonstrable supplier defect or non-conformity to specification.
